Since
Tupelo
Our community has been our inspiration — every recipe, every ingredient, every loaf.
Our Story

We believe bread should mean something

Tupelo Nutrition was born from a simple conviction: that the food on your table should nourish you — physically and culturally. We saw a gap in Tupelo for a place where artisan baking and whole-food nutrition lived under one roof, and we decided to fill it.

Our sourdough starts with a starter we've tended for years — a living culture that gives each loaf its distinctive tang and airy structure. We mill our own flour in small batches, ferment each dough slowly, and bake in batches throughout the day so nothing leaves our oven stale.

Patience
48-hour ferments, no shortcuts, no rush.
Transparency
Every ingredient sourced, traced, and named.
Community
Local farmers, local hands, local tables.
Craft
Hand-shaped, wood-fired, small-batch — always.
The Process

From grain to golden crust

Great bread can't be rushed. Here's what happens between the field and your kitchen.

01

Source

Heritage wheat from regional mills, filtered water, sea salt, and a starter that's been alive for years.

02

Ferment

Long cold-ferment in temperature-controlled proofing boxes — 48 hours minimum for our sourdough.

03

Shape & Bake

Each loaf is hand-shaped, scored, and loaded onto stone decks — no conveyor belts, no industrial ovens.

04

Serve

Fresh from the oven to your hands — or carefully packaged for pickup. Same-day is always best.

The crust cracks like glass. The crumb is alive. I haven't tasted bread this honest since a small bakery in Provence — and now I don't have to travel for it.
